Sponsors can initiate the apprenticeship registration for apprentices via the Online Registration in the SkilledTradesBC portal.

Navigate to the Online Registration section in the SkilledTradesBC portal.

Click + Online Registration.

Enter the Trade and Program name the apprentice would like to pursue.

You must have the apprentice’s SkilledTradesBC ID.

Select Yes or No for Out of Province experience.

Review and complete the Sponsor Attestation.

Click Submit.

Upon submission, the registration appears under the Active Online Registrations.

The registration request is sent to the apprentice for review.

Upon apprentice review, some registrations may need the SkilledTradesBC review.

The Status Reason changes to Pending SkilledTradesBC Review.

The registration request can be viewed under the Processed Online Registrations upon SkilledTradesBC review and approval.
